AARTI TIMING

Aarti is a Hindu ritual in which prayers and offerings are made to a deity. At the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, there are four aartis held daily:

• Kakad Aarti (Morning): This is the first aarti of the day, and it is held at 5:00 AM. It is named after the kajal (black eye liner) that is used to decorate the idol of Sai Baba.
• Madhyan Aarti (Noon): This aarti is held at 11:30 AM. It is named after the word “madhyan”, which means “noon” in Hindi.
• Dhoop Aarti (Evening): This aarti is held at 4:00 PM. It is named after the dhoop (incense) that is used in the ritual.
• Shej Aarti (Night): This is the last aarti of the day, and it is held at 10:30 PM. It is named after the word “shej”, which means “bedtime” in Hindi.

The aartis are all held in the Samadhi Mandir, which is the main temple dedicated to Sai Baba. The aartis are a beautiful and moving way to experience the spiritual energy of the temple. They are also a popular way to seek the blessings of Sai Baba.
